Job summary

Ci Siamo, a Union Square Hospitality Group concept expanding to Boston, seeks a Host to greet guests warmly and coordinate seating with the Maître D’. In this opening role, you’ll support service and help maintain a welcoming dining room atmosphere.

The position emphasizes hospitality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates bring a cheerful, guest‑oriented mindset, with the ability to stand for extended periods, handle multiple tasks, and assist with lightweight service duties as

Qualifications

Experience in a guest facing role in a restaurant preferred, but not necessary.
Availability for lunch shifts
Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and/or glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Support Enlightened Hospitality culture.
Create a welcoming environment for guests in person or over the phone.
Partner with Maître D to quote accurate wait times while finding the yes for all guests.
Answer guest inquiries regarding hours, menus, and reservations.
Maintain and reset dining room with efficiency, speed and grace.
Remain informed about all menu items and proper mise en place for each dish.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance in all areas.
