Job summary

Ci Siamo Boston is opening a front-of-house host position in our Seaport location. The Host will greet guests, coordinate seating with the Maître D’, and help maintain a warm, welcoming dining room that reflects Enlightened Hospitality.

Ideal candidates have guest-facing experience and can work lunch shifts, standing for long periods. English fluency is required; additional languages are a plus. The role supports service with professionalism and grace.

Qualifications

• Experience in a guest-facing role in a restaurant preferred.
• Availability for lunch shifts.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• English fluency; additional languages preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests in person or on the phone.
• Coordinate seating with the Maître D’ and maintain smooth service flow.
• Answer guest inquiries about hours, menus, and reservations.
• Assist with table maintenance, resetting, and keeping the dining room presentable.
• Support coat check duties as needed.
• Work efficiently with a sense of urgency and a team mindset.
