Job summary

The Neiders Company is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Agent for one of its smaller extended-stay properties in Scottsdale. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins/outs, reservations, and guest questions with a friendly, professional demeanor.

This on-site role requires reliability, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, while helping maintain a welcoming, organized front desk and supporting property operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) or similar software preferred
• Comfortable handling cash and credit card transactions
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to work a part-time schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Experience with social media marketing preferred
• Reliable transportation to and from the property

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of guest check-in and check-out procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications ensuring all records are meticulously maintained.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Ensure all guest requests and inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including stocking supplies and informational materials.
• Support day-to-day needs of the property beyond front desk responsibilities as needed.
• Communicate maintenance, safety, guest, or operational concerns to management.
• Work independently during shifts following company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the General Manager, maintenance team, and other staff.
