Travel + Leisure Co. in Newport, RI is seeking a Guest Services Associate to provide warm welcomes, assist guests from registration to checkout, and answer inquiries with a friendly, can-do attitude.

You will guide guests through the registration process, quote room rates, handle cash and card transactions, and balance receipts while delivering memorable hospitality in a fast-paced resort setting. Prioritizes accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist from registration to checkout.
• Provide information about the resort and area attractions; quote room rates and confirm reservations.
• Process cash and credit card transactions following established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts and complete cashier/money handling tasks.
• Complete check-out procedures and verify charges in guest folios.
• Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals or groups.
• Respond to guest inquiries quickly and completely.
