Job summary

Courtyard Opryland is seeking a Front Desk Associate to warmly greet guests, check them in/out, and manage folio transactions with accuracy. You will answer queries about local dining and entertainment, coordinate reservations, and ensure a smooth guest experience from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities include cash handling, maintaining room availability records, and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced hotel lobby environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk or guest services preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math and cash handling abilities
• Ability to greet guests warmly and handle inquiries professionally

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests upon arrival
• Maintain accurate front desk cash drawers and folio transactions
• Issue room keys and escort instructions to guests
• Answer telephone calls and relay messages
• Assist guests with reservations, changes, and inquiries about local services
• Keep records of room availability and guest accounts
• Process payments and make change as needed
• Deliver exceptional service and resolve guest issues promptly
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean, organized front desk area
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests
