Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Chicago is seeking a Lobby Ambassador to deliver hospitality-driven service to guests and employees. You will greet visitors, provide directions, support reception and mailroom tasks, and maintain a welcoming corporate environment.

This role requires 2–3 years in customer service, fluent English, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. It operates 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, in a fast-paced office setting with a temporary 90-day path to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of customer service or hospitality experience.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Professional, responsive, service-oriented demeanor.
• Flexible and positive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and assist arrivals, departures, and orientations.
• Provide face-to-face engagement to ensure positive interactions.
• Conduct site walks to maintain visibility and lobby coverage.
• Recommend local restaurants, hotels, attractions, and events.
• Coordinate with clients and teams to anticipate visitor needs.
• Serve as information hub for campus wayfinding and services.
• Support meeting coordination, reception, and mailroom tasks.
• Manage mail and packages across carriers with tracking.
• Oversee mailroom inventory and security/compliance.
• Build networks within local hospitality industry.
• Collaborate with facility management for seamless service.
