Job summary

University Health & Rehabilitation Center in Durham, NC is seeking a Service Ambassador to be the first point of contact for guests. You will greet patients, manage calls, and keep the reception area organized, contributing to a welcoming environment and smooth daily operations.

Your role includes assisting with mail, data entry, and general admin tasks, while addressing inquiries and resolving issues to support outstanding patient care and a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer and manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate department.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception / lobby area.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distribution.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
• Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
• Other clerical duties as needed for the successful operation of the center.
