Job summary

IHG Hotels is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage bookings, process transactions and provide local insights to ensure a friction-free stay in Torrance, CA.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, problem-solving and flexibility with shifts; a high school diploma is expected, with a college degree a bonus. The position is on-site at our Torrance location.

Qualifications

• Front Desk experience preferred; customer service experience required.
• Acknowledge rewards members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.
• Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
• Check guests in and out, collect IDs and issue room keys.
• Record and act on guest preferences and requests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a warm welcome to start a positive stay.
• Manage bookings, upsell opportunities and explain stay improvements.
• Answer questions and resolve concerns to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Process payments and ensure security of cash and transactions.
• Act as a brand ambassador and stay aware of daily events and safety procedures.
