Le Pain Quotidien in New Canaan, CT is seeking team members who take pride in hospitality and delivering warm, attentive service to guests throughout their visit.

You will prepare drinks and assist with retail pastry and food orders, handle the POS transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized dining and retail area while supporting teammates in a friendly, inclusive environment.

Qualificações

• 1 to 3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast.
• Willingness to be cross-trained in all dining room and retail areas.

Responsabilidades

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Prepare drinks for retail and dining room, including batches for the retail counter.
• Bag, box, and arrange to-go food and pastry.
• Perform sales transactions following cash handling policy.
• Maintain pastry display and knowledge of pastry, bread, and beverages.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager when needed.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures; daily checklists and side-work.
• Keep restaurant areas clean and organized per cleaning checklists.
• Answer the phone with proper etiquette and take orders over the phone.
