HEI Hotels & Resorts in Rockville, MD is seeking a Part-time Front Desk Agent to assist guests with arrivals and departures, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in/out experience.

The role requires friendly, professional communication, accuracy with billing, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Prior hotel front desk experience is preferred, and knowledge of IHG or similar brands is a plus. Compensation is $18.00–$18.50 per hour with tip eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, professional welcome and manage check-in/out.
• Input guest information, confirm rates, and issue keys and folios.
• Process payments, manage cash and balance house bank as needed.
• Answer phones promptly and assist with local attractions and hours.
• Resolve guest concerns, aiming for quick, effective solutions.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during busy periods and emergencies.
