Job summary

Residence Inn Lake Norman in Huntersville, NC is hiring a part-time Front Desk Associate. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-in/check-out, inquiries, and promotions of hotel services.

Must have 1 year of front desk experience and solid computer skills (Word/Excel); familiarity with reservation systems such as Lightspeed, FOSSE or PEP is a plus. Weekday and weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of front desk experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with hotel reservation systems is a plus (Lightspeed, FOSSE, PEP).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at check-in and complete registration per brand standards.
• Handle check-out, verify room charges and payment methods, print or email folio.
• Provide information about the local area and hotel services.
• Promote loyalty programs and up-sell hotel services.
• Answer phones promptly with a professional greeting and assist guests.
• Resolve guest inquiries and escalate issues to a manager when needed.
