Job summary

HomeTowne Studios Puyallup is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins/outs, reservations, and inquiries. You will coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve concerns and balance cash at shift end, ensuring a smooth guest experience.

The role requires strong customer service, hospitality mindset, and proficiency with standard office software. This position is typically on-site and guest-focused.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

• Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required - we welcome applicants at all experience levels.
• Strong customer service skills with a guest-focused approach.
• Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing with accuracy.
• Take reservations in person, via email, or over the phone, including group bookings.
• Answer queries regarding the hotel's services, charges, dining facilities, sports facilities, and travel directions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address and resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift.
