Job summary

Onvo in Stroudsburg, PA is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, manage reservations, and provide information about services and local attractions. You will respond to inquiries, assist with check-in/check-out, and help maintain a welcoming lobby.

The role requires strong communication, experience in customer service, and proficiency with PMS and MS Office. Flexible part-time shifts 3 PM–11 PM, including weekends, are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in using computer systems, including PMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to assist guests.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
• Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using the property management system.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address guest inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Provide information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
• Process payments, maintain accurate cash handling procedures, and balance daily transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including mail distribution and record-keeping.
• Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
