Job summary

Hyatt House Irvine is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. You will greet guests, process arrivals and departures, handle reservations, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining Hyatt brand standards.

As the face of our hotel, your responsibilities include responding to guest inquiries, coordinating with departments for guest satisfaction, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
• Experience with Hyatt systems and Opera/PEP is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Handle reservations, room assignments, and payment transactions.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery opportunities.
• Answer telephone calls and provide information regarding hotel services and local attractions.
• Maintain accurate guest records and documentation.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow cash handling, safety, and security procedures.
• Assist with additional front office duties as assigned.
