Job summary

Embassy Suites Irvine, part of the Sage Hospitality portfolio, seeks a Front Desk/Guest Services Associate to greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, and provide information with a courteous, professional approach.

The role requires English fluency, basic cash handling, and strong customer service skills. This is a regular part-time position at the Irvine property, with hourly pay and benefits support for full-time staff where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have high school graduate level mathematical aptitude and cash handling knowledge.
• Experience in dealing directly with the public and basic customer service.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Able to handle multiple tasks with tact in stressful situations.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Possess a CA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greets and completes check-in procedures for arriving guests, using manual and computer methods.
• Facilitates guest departure by checking out and closing accounts.
• Posts monies, receipts, guest accounts and other forms of credit with proper cash handling.
• Answers inquiries and accepts reservations, communicates rates, and uses upselling techniques.
• Maintains good customer relations by staying aware of in-house and area events.
• Operates PBX equipment for calls, wake-up calls, and paging.
• Controls cash transactions and manages personal bank as per policy.
• Drives hotel guests to/from the airport and other trips.
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful demeanor at all times.
