Job summary

ASH Hotels in Providence, RI, is seeking a Guest Service Agent for The Neptune. This part‑time, hands‑on front desk role starts with welcoming guests and handling check‑ins, while managing reservations and providing local recommendations.

You'll coordinate with departments to fulfill guest requests, address concerns with care, and maintain a clean, organized lobby. Prior hospitality experience and strong communication are a must.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with hotel PMS systems (preferably Opera or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in guests warmly and efficiently.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing.
• Answer questions about the property and offer genuine local recommendations.
• Coordinate with other departments to follow through on guest requests.
• Address concerns promptly and with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
• Uphold all hotel policies and procedures, ensuring the security and privacy of our guests.

• Keep the front desk running smoothly across every shift.
