InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check‑in/check‑out, and handle payments with care and professionalism.

You will anticipate guest needs, respond to requests, and provide local insights while representing the brand. Flexibility for nights/weekends and physical tasks may be required; prior front desk experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Comfortable with basic math and computer use.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in a front desk or guest service role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and manage check‑in/check‑out efficiently.

• Manage bookings and upsell opportunities to improve guest experience.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Record guest preferences and respond to requests and concerns.
• Be a trusted contact for guests and escalate issues to management when needed.
