As a Front Desk Clerk, you will greet guests, register and assign rooms, handle calls, reservations, wake-up services, and provide information on hotel amenities and local attractions.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 months related experience; High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and administrative skills

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
• Answer telephone and post charges; compute and collect payments.
• Make and confirm reservations; monitor room availability.
• Program wake-up calls; handle guest mail and messages.
• Provide information on hotel services and local area.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the front office and lobby.
• Report deficiencies in fixtures, equipment and maintenance.
