Job summary

Residence Inn Cleveland Mentor is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver warm, efficient guest service and create memorable experiences for every visitor.

You will be the first impression on arrival and throughout the stay, handling check-ins, check-outs, local-area questions, and requests by coordinating with other departments. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required to support a busy hotel team.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a guest-facing role with strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read, write, type and use basic technology; comfortable handling cash and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a friendly, efficient, and accurate check-in and check-out experience.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Answer questions about the local area and facilities, providing directions and resources.
• Demonstrate proper phone etiquette, including transfers, messages, and reservations.
• Follow cash handling procedures and post/reconcile charges to guest receipts.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
