Job summary

Ideal Hospitality in Wilmington, NC, is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to greet guests, assist with check-in and check-out, and set a welcoming tone upon arrival. You’ll manage reservations, handle payments, and respond to questions about hotel amenities and local attractions.

You will collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction, maintain accurate records, and uphold safety and privacy procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly and professional communication skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and phone skills.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Previous hotel or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with check-in and check-out
• Process payments and manage guest accounts
• Book, modify, and cancel reservations
• Answer guest questions and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
• Respond to guest requests and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
• Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information
• Answer phones and respond to emails as needed
• Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction
• Follow hotel safety, security, and privacy procedures
