Job summary

Ash Hotels in Providence's historic downtown Neptun e property is seeking a Guest Service Agent to greet guests, check them in, and ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.

This hands-on, people-facing role requires delivering personal, welcoming service, coordinating reservations, and answering guest questions while maintaining front desk organization and privacy. Prior hospitality experience helps, but a genuine care for people matters most.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with hotel PMS systems (preferably Opera or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in guests warmly and efficiently
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing
• Answer questions about the property and offer genuine local recommendations
• Coordinate with other departments to follow through on guest requests
• Address concerns promptly and with care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas
• Uphold all hotel policies and procedures, ensuring the security and privacy of our guests
• Embody the spirit of Ash Hotels through thoughtful service and consistent reliability
• Keep the front desk running smoothly across every shift
• Other duties as assigned
