Job summary

ASH Hotels in Providence, Rhode Island, is seeking a Guest Service Agent (Part Time) to welcome guests, handle check-ins, and manage reservations with a guest-first mindset.

The role emphasizes friendly, efficient service, strong communication, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays at the Neptune property. Prior hospitality experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth within Ash Hotels.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with hotel PMS systems (Opera or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in guests warmly and efficiently.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing.
• Answer questions about the property and local recommendations.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Address concerns promptly and with care.
• Maintain front desk and lobby cleanliness and organization.
• Uphold hotel policies and guest privacy.
• Provide consistent, reliable service across shifts.
• Keep the front desk running smoothly across every shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
