Job summary

Ash Hotels in Providence is seeking a part-time Guest Service Agent to greet guests, manage check-ins, and handle reservations with warm, personal service.

You will answer questions about the property, provide local recommendations, and coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests. Prior hospitality experience is a plus, with strong communication and organizational skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with hotel PMS systems (preferably Opera or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in guests warmly and efficiently
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing
• Answer questions about the property and offer genuine local recommendations
• Coordinate with other departments to follow through on guest requests
• Address concerns promptly and with care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas
• Uphold all hotel policies and procedures, ensuring the security and privacy of our guests
• Embody the spirit of Shenandoah Mansions through thoughtful service and consistent reliability
• Keep the front desk running smoothly across every shift
• Other duties as assigned
