Job summary

Target in Poway, CA is seeking a Guest Advocate to greet guests, assist at checkout, and promote Target services and loyalty programs. You will help customers navigate in-store and via the Target App, while keeping a welcoming, clean environment.

We value teamwork, flexibility, and strong communication. The role includes nights, weekends, and holidays, with comprehensive training to solve guest needs quickly and safely.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and a welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to educate guests about products and services and assist with loyalty enrollment.
• Comfort with using handheld scanners and store technology to assist guests.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard.
• Greet guests, assist with daily tasks, and solve guest needs.
• Inform guests about promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to resolve issues.
• Assist with Target Loyalty enrollment and app usage.
• Scan and bag items efficiently while following safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy.
• Explain and direct use of Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies as needed.
