Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate in California to assist guests, promote loyalty programs, and keep the store running smoothly. You’ll engage with guests, explain features of the Target App, and help resolve issues while maintaining an upbeat, guest-focused attitude.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, teamwork, and strong communication in a fast-paced retail environment. Training is provided to develop product knowledge and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicating skills and positive language, attentive to guests' needs.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks.
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
