Job summary

Gold Key PHR is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional Guest Service by anticipating needs, suggesting menu items and beverages, and maintaining the flow of the dining experience. The role requires knowledge of the menu and the ability to upsell while ensuring compliance with liquor regulations.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, processing orders, serving meals and drinks, and managing cash handling as needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older as required by state, federal and corporate liquor regulations.
• Experience in high-volume serving is strongly preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know all aspects of the menu and daily specials.
• Make specific suggestions of menu items and beverages while demonstrating up-selling.
• Process orders from greeting to check presentation following company timing standards.
• Adhere to all state, federal and corporate liquor regulations and alcohol awareness in service.
• Provide guest service using a tray for properly plated food items and garnished drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, such as replenishing beverages and condiments.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, act as cash register operator when needed, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Keep station clean and organized throughout shift and complete all opening, running, and closing side work.
