Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an At Your Request PBX Operator to support hotel communications by manning the switchboard, handling guest calls, and coordinating with resort staff.

The role emphasizes courteous, efficient service and adherence to standard procedures. Responsibilities include directing calls, assisting guests with voice mail, dispatching maintenance and housekeeping, and maintaining a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months customer service experience.
• Six months switchboard / PBX experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate switchboard, intercom and two-way radio to relay calls and messages; assist guests with voice mail; dispatch staff to guest rooms.
• Maintain positive customer and associate relationships; respond to inquiries and resolve guest issues; promote teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with internal audits, quality assurance, loss prevention and SOPs.
• Demonstrate the Count On Me culture by being responsive to guests and staff; maintain a professional attitude.
• Perform other duties as needed.
