Job summary

ST JOE RESORT OPERATIONS LLC is seeking a PBX Operator/Switchboard Operator to be the first point of contact for guests and callers. You will handle incoming calls promptly, route to the right departments, and assist with wake-up calls and guest requests.

The role supports front desk operations and acts as a central communication hub for emergencies. Ideal candidates will have basic English literacy, customer-service experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in basic English.
• Hospitality or guest-service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls within a few rings and greet callers warmly.
• Route calls to the appropriate department and take accurate messages.
• Assist with wake-up calls and guest requests as needed.
• Support front desk operations and assist in emergencies as a central communications hub.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, hours, and outlets to inform guests.
