Job summary

Tony Volkswagen in Hawaii seeks a guest service professional to greet clients, document vehicle issues, and coordinate repairs with technicians. You will test drive vehicles as needed and communicate findings clearly to guests while maintaining accurate repair orders.

You will build long-term relationships with associates and guests, deliver compelling cost estimates, obtain authorizations, and ensure timely payment and follow-up while upholding Tony Group standards.

• Must maintain the stated min c/hors, CSI and close repair orders the day the vehicle leaves the facility.

Responsibilities

• Greets guest within 1 minute of arrival in a friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
• Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
• Test drives the vehicle with guest as needed to confirm the problem or refer to test technician.
• Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
• Advises guests on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Establishes 'promised time' and checks with dispatcher if necessary.
• Obtains customer's signature on repair order; provides guest with a copy.
• Establishes customer's method of payment; obtains credit approval if necessary.
• Checks on progress of repair throughout the day; informs guests of changes and obtains authorization for additional work.
• Reviews repair orders to ensure work is completed; closes orders; parks and secures vehicles; marks keys.
