Sesame Place in San Diego is seeking Ambassadors to lead and inspire a team delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will model high service standards, supervise and train Ambassadors, and manage labor while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires flexibility, outdoor work, and the ability to handle multiple selling systems. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with benefits typical of a theme park setting.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to complete CPR/AED training/certification.
• Ability to be certified on all attractions.
• Outstanding communication, public speaking, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office.
• Comfortable working outdoors, around water and at heights up to 350 ft.
• Previous cash handling experience and ability to work multiple selling systems.
• Ability to train on and use protective gear.
• Flexibility in working varied hours.
• Related Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous leadership experience highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Model and perform the highest standards of service to foster a positive atmosphere.
• Supervise, train, and counsel Ambassadors.
• Track labor, including daily scheduling and break management.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals.
• Develop team members through training, feedback and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Create and maintain team rotation grid.
• Respond to guest and team member needs.
• Report project status to Supervisors and Managers.
• Ensure strict adherence to all cash handling procedures.
