Job summary

Baseten is hiring a People Business Partner to support our GTM organization during a critical growth phase. You will partner with GTM leadership to shape org design, leadership development, and talent strategies enabling high-performing teams.

This role requires strong business judgment, data-driven decision making, and close collaboration with RevOps, Talent, and Finance. You will navigate organizational changes, design effective people practices, and help build scalable processes while working

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HRBP experience, including with GTM/revenue orgs, partnering with management at all levels.
• Experience supporting 400+ employee organizations through rapid growth, with org design and talent strategy expertise.
• Strong commercial acumen in GTM, including understanding variable compensation structures.
• Proven ability to navigate high-stakes people decisions with speed, compliance, and judgment.
• Highly analytical, data-driven thinker who builds simple, scalable processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to work in-person 3+ days per week in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Strategic partnership to GTM leadership to translate business context into people priorities.
• Provide data-driven insights on org design, succession, performance, retention, and engagement.
• Build management capacity across GTM with hiring, expectations, feedback, and team development.
• Collaborate with GTM leadership, RevOps, Talent, and Finance on headcount planning and budgeting.
• Support change management and partner with Workplace Experience for SF and NY offices.
