Job summary

Brex is seeking a People Business Partner in Seattle to partner with senior GTM leaders, shaping org design, workforce planning, and talent strategy in a fast-scaling fintech environment. This hybrid role blends strategic advisory with hands-on execution, collaborating across Employee Relations, Compensation, and People Operations.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in People Business Partner, Employee Relations, or related functions.
• Experience advising senior leaders on org design and workforce planning.
• Strong performance management practices in high-performance cultures.
• Experience partnering with Employee Relations on sensitive employee matters.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and influence outcomes.
• Comfort using data to tell a story, identify trends, and drive decisions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client groups and priorities.
• Clear, concise communicator (written and verbal).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders and managers across Customer Experience, Implementation, and Sales Development.
• Drive a culture of high performance by coaching leaders on setting expectations, delivering feedback, and applying calibration.
• Use data and org health metrics to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and recommend interventions to GTM leadership.
• Lead org design with GTM leaders, ensuring structure and headcount plans align with strategy and growth targets.
• Partner with Employee Relations on complex, sensitive employee matters with discretion.
• Support bi-annual promotion and calibration cycles for client groups with rigor and fairness.
• Drive cross-functional People projects in partnership with other People teams.
