Job summary

Verkada is seeking a Sr. Manager, Strategic Finance & Business Operations to partner with Sales and Marketing on topline planning, budgeting, and ROI analysis.

You will drive budgeting decisions, forecast bookings, and lead strategic GTM projects in a fast-growing, pre-IPO environment. You will connect with cross-functional leaders to translate business concepts into scalable models, using SQL and modern AI tools to uncover actionable insights and optimize allocations.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of progressive high growth experience.
• Experience in Growth, Strategic Finance, Business Operations, Sales Operations, or analytical roles at a fast-growing startup.
• Prior experience partnering with Sales leaders or data-driven Growth teams is a plus.
• Fluency in database concepts, SQL, and the latest AI tools.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills.
• Growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Shepherd the planning and goal-setting process for bookings and pipeline and forecast these metrics as the company scales.
• Drive weekly business reviews with the CRO and CFO.
• Generate insights on performance of segments, channels, and GTM programs.
• Own portions of the multi-hundred-million-dollar GTM budget.
• Partner on open-ended GTM strategy questions and initiatives.
• Tackle critical change projects to enable growth at scale.
