Descript’s Finance team seeks a senior finance professional to partner on GTM growth, turning insight into leverage and smarter bets. You will own top-of-funnel and ARR forecasting, build models, and work with Sales, Marketing, and Data to quantify opportunities and drive monetization decisions.

You’ll translate data into actionable guidance for leadership, design dashboards, and support pricing and packaging with rigorous financial analysis. Strong SQL and end‑to‑end data fluency are essential.

Qualificações

• 7–10+ years in strategic or GTM finance at SaaS companies.
• Strong GTM intuition with top-of-funnel analytics and ARR modeling.
• Advanced SQL skills with end-to-end data self-serve capability.
• Experience in both B2B and B2C SaaS models.
• Strong financial modeling for growth scenarios and funnel dynamics.
• Experience monetizing experiments, pricing, and packaging.
• Clear communicator who translates data into actions.

Responsabilidades

• Own Descript’s top-of-funnel and growth models from signup to ARR retention.
• Own sales-led revenue forecasting, pipeline modeling, and quota-driven ARR.
• Build/maintain GTM models: ARR builds, channel performance, cohort analysis.
• Partner with data teams to define metrics and enable self-serve analytics.
• Design dashboards for GTM metrics: signups, conversions, payback.
• Quantify growth opportunities across self-serve, product-led, and sales-led motions.
• Define GTM goal-setting frameworks and track performance against targets.
• Analyze marketing/growth efficiency: ROI, CAC, payback, funnel conversion.
• Support pricing, packaging, and monetization with solid financial analysis.
• Communicate insights to leadership, including exec/board materials.
