Job summary

SageOx is seeking a GTM Engineer in Seattle to lead market-building efforts alongside the product. This hands-on role blends customer learning, content, and tooling to drive SageOx’s demand engine across Seattle and SF ecosystems.

You will own the loop from customer conversation to experiments, with high autonomy and deep collaboration with founders. Expect a fast-paced, high-impact environment shaping our narrative and growth.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, technical marketing, or growth — the background matters less than the builder instinct.
• Mission & culture alignment with SageOx and willingness to represent the company.
• Track record of shipping core or side projects, internal tools, or open-source contributions.
• Deep, hands-on fluency with AI and agent frameworks.
• Technical ability to build the machine (integrations, MCP workflows, analytics).
• Experiment-minded with hypothesis, baselines, and results.
• Strong customer empathy and ability to understand customer problems.
• Clear communication in writing, video, or practical SageOx projects.
• Ownership mindset and ability to drive outcomes in an early-stage startup.
• Cultural fit: fast shipping, transparency, and team-first orientation.
• Connected to builder scenes in Seattle/San Francisco/online.

Responsibilities

• Learn — own the customer and market loop: talk with founders and teams to understand context; map ideal customer territory; surface trends and feedback.
• Be the tip of the spear for market feedback: engage across social, communities, and ecosystem; relay important feedback to product teams.
• Create a steady customer-learning cadence and make findings legible to product and engineering.
• Evangelize — turn learning into voice: run content machinery, produce threads, posts, videos, and tutorials on cadence.
• Turn customer conversations into positioning inputs, demos, tutorials, case studies, and product feedback.
• Be the external voice engine and turn internal tooling ideas into public voice.
• Amplify founders: identify platforms and moments for founders to show up; connect with audiences.
• Run community marketing: launches, dev-influencer collaborations, and hackathons; own events and Seattle/SF communities.
• Dogfood SageOx daily and evangelize from lived use.
• Build — engineer the machine: create AI-powered tools for prospecting, lead scoring, and demos; build integrations and templates; automate outbound and GTM stack.
