Job summary

PalAmerican is seeking a highly skilled GSOC Operator to join our security team in Spartanburg, SC. You will monitor CCTV and alarm systems, dispatch responses, log incidents and coordinate with response teams to handle emergencies. Qualifications

• US citizenship; 18+ years old.
• Security Officer certification for state awarded.
• 1–2 years security or related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay clear-headed in high-stress situations.
• Reliable, positive attitude and ethics in CCTV operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and dispatch security and fire alarms with prompt response.
• Operate CCTV, alarm receiving equipment and access control systems.
• Maintain logs and prepare incident reports.
• Use two-way radios, telephones and computer systems effectively.
• Make emergency notifications and coordinate response teams.
• Monitor news and intelligence software for crisis updates.
• Support after-hours dispatching of facilities personnel and contractors.
