Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a GSOC Operator in Michigan to monitor incidents, coordinate security responses, and support client safety across multiple sites. You will work under the GSOC Supervisor, using access control and alarm systems, BI sources, and open data to detect threats and alert teams.

The role emphasizes calm incident handling, reporting, and collaboration with security staff across commercial real estate, healthcare, and other sectors.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Experience as a Dispatch Operator or GSOC operator preferred.
• Two+ years of military, law enforcement, government, or security experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Office).
• Ability to write reports and analyze data.
• Background check required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on location.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by enforcing safety procedures and responding to incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly.
• Investigate alarms and coordinate security responses (patrols, Fire/Police as needed).
• Assist employees with safety and security concerns.
• Monitor travel safety and security of employees.
