Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in GSOC, Security Operations Center, or related security environment.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in security operations.
• Experience managing daily operations and leading teams.
• Experience supporting geographically dispersed or remote teams preferred.
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident management, threat assessment, and escalation procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day GSOC operations and workload distribution.
• Ensure personnel follow procedures, protocols, and standards.
• Monitor quality, timeliness, and accuracy of security monitoring and incident response.
• Identify operational gaps and implement improvements for efficiency and resiliency.
• Escalate security incidents, threats, and events to senior leadership.
• Maintain operational readiness for evolving security threats.
• Provide leadership and performance management to local GSOC personnel.
• Set expectations, priorities, and accountability with Senior Management.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support remote collaboration and integration with other teams.
