Job summary

W.S. Darley & Co is seeking a Contract Administrator for the Defense Division to join our team in Itasca, IL.

The role focuses on administration, maintenance, and compliance of GSA, SEWP VI, and other IDIQ contracts from quote generation through order fulfillment. You will liaise with sales, accounting, purchasing, suppliers, and government customers to ensure contract requirements are met while optimizing utilization and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related work experience required.
• Experience with government contracting and IDIQ vehicles preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain GSA Schedule, SEWP VI, and other IDIQ contract vehicles.
• Support evaluation of new products and suppliers for inclusion on GSA/SEWP/IDIQ contracts.
• Serve as point of contact for contract inquiries from customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain contract files, correspondence, modifications, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and submit monthly contract reports (e.g., TDR).
• Track contract sales, reporting requirements, and performance metrics.
• Assist with audits related to government contracts.
• Attend monthly IDIQ review meetings and maintain deliverable reports.
