Job summary

Flagship Pioneering in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Director, Growth Strategy and Operations to partner with senior leadership. You will drive strategic and financial value creation across GrowthCos, coordinate governance, and serve as a central operational partner with the Team Principal/Growth Partner to accelerate execution.

You will blend analytical insight with hands-on execution, shaping portfolio strategies and ensuring alignment across Flagship teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in life sciences preferred, with related or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience at the intersection of life sciences and business.
• Exposure to healthcare or life sciences with interest in operational and strategic growth.
• Ability to understand financial models and translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership when working with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee governance alignment and day-to-day execution with the Team Principal.
• Coordinate across Flagship functions and GrowthCos to drive value creation.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration, strategic analyses, and execution plans.
• Maintain portfolio priorities, track deliverables, and ensure timely follow-up.
• Function as a trusted partner combining strategic, operational, and financial rigor.
