Job description

We are a fast growing PE backed healthcare/wellness company. Through our unique co-ownership model, we enable our partners with expertise and resources across operations, learning and development, human resources, recruiting, marketing, technology, and finance so they can focus on running their practices.

About the Role

The Manager of Growth Strategy and Operations will own strategic growth initiatives from ideation through execution. This person will identify opportunities, develop business cases, design solutions, coordinate cross-functional implementation, and measure results across our portfolio of partnerships. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution. The Manager will use operational and financial data to identify performance opportunities and translate insights into scalable programs that improve portfolio EBITDA. Success requires the ability to move between big-picture thinking and hands-on execution while aligning stakeholders across different functions and levels of the organization.

Initial areas of focus will include revenue mix and optimization, client retention and education campaigns, and online growth. The role’s broader mandate is to build repeatable approaches that can be applied to future growth opportunities across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Own Strategic Initiatives from Ideation Through Execution

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve revenue, margin, retention, and portfolio EBITDA.
  • Develop hypotheses, business cases, implementation plans, and success measures for new initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives through design, pilot, launch, adoption, and performance evaluation.
  • Balance long-term strategic goals with the practical requirements of execution.
  • Maintain ownership of timelines, deliverables, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes.

Use Data to Drive Decisions

  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, performance gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Segment portfolio and client data to determine where initiatives will have the greatest impact.
  • Translate complex findings into clear recommendations for leadership and operating teams.
  • Interpret profit and loss statements, revenue mix, margin drivers, and other factors affecting EBITDA.
  • Establish performance measures, monitor results, and refine initiatives based on data and feedback.

Lead Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner with teams across operations, finance, marketing, technology, learning and development, and other corporate functions.
  • Align stakeholders around objectives, responsibilities, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Serve as the connection between strategic priorities and frontline execution.
  • Communicate effectively with executive leaders, functional partners, and local operating teams.
  • Anticipate implementation barriers and develop practical solutions that support adoption.

Build Scalable Capabilities

  • Convert successful initiatives into repeatable playbooks, tools, training, and processes.
  • Lead one-to-one and one-to-many enablement sessions that drive adoption and sustained behavior change.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback and incorporate lessons into future program design.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify execution and enable teams to operate more independently.
  • Contribute to the Growth and Enablement roadmap and broader value-creation priorities.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with growth strategy, value creation, operational improvement, or enablement either in-house at a fast growing company or as a management consultant.
  • Experience designing pilots, segmenting opportunities, tracking performance, and scaling successful programs.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders across corporate and field-based teams.
