Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke is seeking a Business Development Coordinator in the Boston area to support the Private Equity + Investment Funds practice. You will collaborate with attorneys and the BD team to plan and deliver tailored materials that advance growth initiatives across matters and client segments.

This role emphasizes client research, pitch development, RFP responses, and event coordination, with a focus on promoting the firm’s expertise and strengthening internal and external visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of four years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
• Experience supporting a legal practice or similar setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
• Conduct client, prospect, industry, competitor, and market research to inform BD efforts.
• Create high quality, tailored pitch materials, responses to RFPs and client presentations.
• Develop legal directory and award submissions and regular league table submissions.
• Develop and distribute client alerts, newsletters, blogs and other thought leadership pieces.
• Coordinate events, webinars and speaking engagements, including logistics and vendor coordination.
