Job summary

beehiiv is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Growth to own onboarding, activation, and monetization, working with Growth & Marketing to drive trial-to-paid conversion. This role emphasizes AI-driven prototyping and rapid shipping without depending on designers for every experiment.

You’ll partner with Engineering, Data, Design, and PMs to optimize the trial funnel, upsells, and paywalls while shipping engineer-ready PRDs and near-finished prototypes within our design system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, with growth/activation focus in a SaaS business.
• Proven track record of moving a conversion metric (free/trial-to-paid).
• Strong analytical skills: cohort analysis, multi-channel performance.
• AI-native mindset: prototyping and data-driven decision making.
• Good product and design sensibility; know when to prototype vs. design.
• Experience across onboarding, paywalls, pricing, and lifecycle messaging.

Responsibilities

• Own signup, onboarding, activation, upsells, and trial-to-paid conversion metrics.
• Prioritize growth roadmap with engineering; run experiments from hypothesis to readout.
• Fix funnel friction: mobile-first UX, trial start, checkout, and activation moments.
• Design onboarding experiences that showcase key features before paywall.
• Define success metrics and event tracking for each experiment.
• Collaborate with PMs on core surfaces and present findings to leadership.
