Read AI, Inc. is seeking a Product Designer to own design across growth surfaces, becoming the first dedicated Growth designer.

You will work at the intersection of product design and growth strategy, partnering with Growth PMs, engineers, and the broader design team to redesign how new users experience Read AI and how existing users upgrade to paying customers. You'll own activation, onboarding, and conversion surfaces, aligning with activation benchmarks and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of product design experience with a strong portfolio and design thinking.
• Experience or interest in activation, onboarding, conversion, or growth-adjacent UX.
• Comfortable in a test-and-learn environment with scoped experiments and iteration on results.
• Self-directed: can progress without a playbook or constant direction.
• Strong collaborator with PMs and engineers and able to avoid bottlenecks.
• Fluent in reading funnel data and using quantitative signals to sharpen design decisions.

Responsabilités

• Own activation and onboarding: redesign end-to-end new user experience from sign-up to first value moment.
• Drive conversion and monetization UX: design paywalls, upgrade prompts, and trial-to-paid surfaces; iterate with experiments.
• Build the growth design workflow: integrate design into Read AI's growth experiment cycle; create reusable components and patterns.
• Be a genuine growth partner: contribute growth hypotheses to planning and roadmaps; interpret experiment results with PM and data to inform iterations.
