Job summary

beehiiv, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Growth to own onboarding, activation, upsells, and trial-to-paid conversion from signup to paying customer.

You'll work with Growth & Marketing to run end-to-end experiments, shipping prototype solutions with AI tools and our design system. This role demands an AI-native operator who can turn data insights into hypotheses and working prototypes in a day, collaborating with Engineering, Design, Data, and PMs across core surfaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading growth, onboarding, or monetization in a product-led SaaS.
• Proven track record moving a key metric via fast experiments (A/B tests).
• Strong SQL and analytics skills; comfortable with cohort analysis.
• Experience with AI-native workflows and prototype-to-production processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own signup, onboarding, activation, upsells, and trial-to-paid conversion.
• Prioritize growth roadmap with engineering; run experiments end-to-end.
• Improve mobile-first funnel; optimize mobile-to-desktop handoff.
• Design upsell and trial experiences showing value before paywall.
• Build agent-first onboarding with AI agents and MCP.
• Convert inactive trial users to paying customers via lifecycle and offers.
• Collaborate with Growth Marketing on acquisition quality and messaging.
• Define success metrics and track events for experiments.
• Prototype experiments using AI and design system; collaborate with designers.
• Collaborate with PMs on core product surfaces to optimize activation moments.
• Present thinking and results to leadership and incorporate feedback.
