Job summary

Troon in Naples, FL, is seeking a motivated Sous Chef to lead a busy kitchen within our hospitality-focused operation. You will supervise food preparation, ensure recipes are followed, and maintain sanitation and safety standards while supporting cost-control initiatives.

Join a fast-paced team and contribute to menu development, staff training, and efficient kitchen operations, reporting to the Executive Chef.

Qualifications

• AA or 2–3 years of related experience required.
• Food safety and sanitation training is required.
• Regular and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversees food preparation for a kitchen area and ensures high-quality output.
• Adheres to cost control procedures and uses standardized recipes.
• Monitors daily equipment maintenance and sanitation program.
• Directs daily prep lists and assists in menu development.
• Assists Executive Chef with food orders and stock control.
• Trains and supervises staff in food preparation and equipment use.
• Supports budget objectives for the Food & Beverage department.
