The Clubs at St James in Southport, NC, is seeking a full-time Sous Chef to join Troon’s hospitality team. You will supervise kitchen production, ensure quality and safety standards, and support the Executive Chef with ordering and staff development.

We offer a structured environment with standard recipes, inventory control, and opportunities to contribute new menu concepts while maintaining budgetary objectives.

Qualifications

• AA degree or 2–3 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages food preparation for a specific area of the kitchen.
• Adheres to cost and quality control procedures and standardized recipes.
• Maintains and directs a sanitation program and daily prep lists.
• Assists in ordering food and training staff; assigns duties for efficiency.
