Qualifications

• Certificate from college or technical school, or 3–6 months related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality kitchen is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists in supervising culinary staff and food production for specific kitchen areas.
• Supports adherence to recipes, portion control, and cost controls.
• Monitors equipment maintenance and ensures sanitation programs.
• Provides training and assigns duties to kitchen staff for efficient operations.
• Assists in interviewing, hiring, and evaluating kitchen personnel.
