Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to generate and convert leads into funded loans by promoting CCM’s products and programs. You will develop new business opportunities, review loan documentation, and maintain production standards.

Responsibilities include lead conversion, rate analysis, borrower counseling, and managing a personal pipeline. Must have 1+ year sales/origination experience, NMLS and state licenses, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales or origination experience in a consumer direct or call center environment.
• Experience collecting and analyzing borrower income and negotiating skills.
• Experience proactively soliciting new business.
• Knowledge of retail product philosophy, underwriting, procedures, documentation and systems.
• Experience converting leads and inbound calls, preferred.
• NMLS License under the SAFE Act (2008).
• State License under SAFE Act.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Establish a presence for CCM, including converting incoming leads.
• Analyze current rates and programs to provide accurate and timely information to borrowers.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with borrowers.
• Participate in all steps related to mortgage loan origination, including meetings, counseling, and phone applications.
• Manage personal pipeline to meet service standards and financial goals.
• Develop and nurture referral relationships to drive growth and lead generation.
• Participate in office training and networking events to support referrals.
• Learn and stay current with borrowing programs, processes, and products.
• Learn and utilize in-house systems and programs.
• Evaluate credit requests and market trends.
