Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is hiring an Outside Loan Originator to source mortgage leads, build relationships with agents, and grow the CCM referral network. You will analyze markets, promote CCM products, and assist applicants through the loan process in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires NMLS licensure, strong communication, and knowledge of mortgage products. Some travel and after-hours events may be required.

Qualifications

• NMLS License required under SAFÉ Act 2008.
• Experience with retail product philosophy, underwriting, documentation and systems.
• Experience proactively soliciting new business.
• Encompass experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mortgage products and programs.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate credit and trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Source mortgage leads and build relationships with real estate agents.
• Analyze markets and develop referral networks for loan prospects.
• Market CCM products to individuals and firms to meet needs.
• Meet applicants to obtain loan information and answer questions.
• Analyze financial status, credit and property values to approve loans.
• Explain loan types and terms to customers and gather documentation.
• Coordinate with processing and underwriting to resolve issues.
• Attend closings, open houses and CCM seminars as needed.
• Maintain knowledge through education and professional networks.
